Strategic transport studies set the framework, parameters and direction for transport initiatives across a range of diverse transport related topics.

DVC has been engaged to undertake a variety of strategic transport studies, including the development of parking strategies and a review of the business case for re-establishing the FreoStar bus service in Fremantle. We have prepared tender documents on behalf of the State Government for a number of major strategic transport modelling projects and conducted transport assessments relating to outline development plans.

It is important to test concepts and strategies in their early stages to ensure the vision is robust. There is a need for a flexible approach in developing strategies and an open mind to see what is practical.
